The searching facility within Sharepoint Server is a powerful tool, however it can still be dificult to find documents via its associated metadata as the microsoft search webpart enables a user to enter free text, no matter what the metadata type is.
With MetaSearch for Sharepoint, you user is presented with only valid options to choose from, based on the underlying metadata type.
